Research Histology Services is looking to hire a Histology Image Scanning Technician. This person would provide support for our lab operations by performing necessary whole slide imaging activities, including scanner operation, post-scanning quality checking, data entry, storage and archival. Responsibilities also include interaction with scanning vendors and troubleshooting software operation / hardware issues as necessary.

A Note on Fee-for-Service Histology Services

We are have not been function as a fee-for-service core facility since 2017. Since that time we have dedicated our resources to collaborating with investigators within the Starzl Transplantation Institute and outside companies/collaborators with a focus on prolonging allograft health.
